इसरो ने आज श्रीहरिकोटा में साउथ एशिया सैटेलाइट GSAT-9 को लॉन्च किया है। इस सैटेलाइट से पाकिस्तान को छोड़कर बाकी साउथ एशियाई देशों को कम्युनिकेशन की सुविधा मिलेगी। इस मिशन में अफगानिस्तान, भूटान, नेपाल, बांग्लादेश, मालदीव और श्रीलंका शामिल हैं। इस प्रोजेक्ट पर 450 करोड़ रुपए का खर्च आया है। यह सैलेटाइट 2230 किलो का है जिससे कम्युनिकेशन की सुविधा मिलेगी। सैटेलाइट के लॉन्च होते ही सोशल मीडिया पर लोग अपने विचार व्यक्त कर रहे हैं और ट्विटर पर #SouthAsiaSatellite ट्रेंड कर रहा है।
